Bushmills 10 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Renowned Irish whiskey brand Bushmills is the third most popular Irish whiskey in the world, with roots going as far back as 4 centuries. Founded in 1608, the brand is produced at the Old Bushmills Distillery, largely regarded as the oldest licensed distillery in the world. When the Crown introduced a higher tax on malt in 1785, Bushmills stood apart from many other distilleries and paid the higher rates in order to stay true to their original recipe. This loyalty has helped create a line of single malt Irish whiskey widely favored among whiskey lovers and collectors alike. Bushmills offers several different iterations including their Original recipe, Black Bush, Red Bush, and the rare distillery shop/duty-free exclusive Bushmills 1608, among others. This historically revered brand is now owned by Casa Cuervo, becoming a part of Jose Cuervo’s vast product lineup of whiskeys, tequilas, vodkas, and rum as of 2014.

Palate: Medium, very fruity, chocolate pudding.

Finish: Floral, tannic.
