Clement XO Extra Aged Rum

Description

Clement XO extra-aged rum is a limited edition blend of specific vintage rums from 1976, 1970, and 1952. They claim these vintages were the finest ever produced in Martinique.

Clement rums are made in Martinique and bottled at the traditional estate of the Clement family.

The Simon Distillery produces rum that is bottled at Clement (also in Martinique) for the the French product that is known around the world. Clement was founded in 1887 by Homere Clement as a sugar refinery that was in operation until 1988. Today, while the rum is distilled at Simon it is still bottled on the estate. The 2012 Beverage Testing Institute noted the Clement XO as a “nuanced sipping rum” that will “shine with cigars.” It was reported as the 6yr rum in 2013 where they once again recommended as “well suited for cigars.”
